Alginate by Accu-Cast 

This is the smoothest mixing of the Accu-Cast formulas. They call it "Prosthetic Grade Velvet". Designed to be a replacement for the popular "Prosthetic Grade Cream", it is an even better product.

This is an all around "can do just about everything" alginate. Can be used for hands, faces, heads or partial torsos. 570 sets in 5 minutes when you use 70°F water. As always, warmer water will accelerate the set. It sets firm and hard, even when mixed thin.

570-PGV does NOT have our anti-slump formulation so it's great for "bucket molds" or if you like the working properties of our competitor's alginates.

We recommend a 4:1 (by weight) mixing ratio. This would be approx. 8 cups water to 1 pound of 570-PGV. Can be mixed thinner or thicker as the need arises.
